As the BBC Washington correspondent for World News America, Kay has become a sought-after political analyst , appearing on Meet the Press, Larry King Live, the Chris Matthew Show, and Morning Joe on MSNBC. She is a regular guest host on the Diane Rehm Show on NPR.
A witty and sharp observer of American politics in action, Katty Kay does not shy away from telling it as she sees it. Her reports on U.S. news are aired nightly on BBC America and the BBC World News.
Her talk, ”Washington From a Different Angle,” will present her unique perspective on American politics through the lens of a seasoned journalist with international credentials.

She grew up all over the Middle East where her father was posted as a British diplomat. Before moving to the United States, she reported for the BBC from Zimbabwe, London, and Tokyo.
